Specularite is a variety of Hematite with inclusions or growths of silvery, metallic, specular ("mirror-like") hematite flakes or tabular, anhedral crystals. This Specular Hematite has incredible sparkle and dark blue hue like the night sky. Specularite’s healing properties are like Hematite, grounding but with an ethereal twist. It opens the Third Eye, enhancing our insight and sparks while Hematite gives us the courage and energy to follow where our insights may lead. It is a wonderful stone for those working on achieving deeper levels of meditation or enhancing the perception of Auras/energy fields.
